Sunday is perfect for exciting discoveries. That's what Tib and I thought when we decided to try a new pub. So,in our search for the perfect place to hang out, we found a bar named 'Storage Room'. We loved the modern air and the fact that the waiters were wearing overalls but we weren't really pleased with our drinks.

Tomorrow is a special day: we will celebrate our 19 months anniversary! It seems as though yesterday we met for the very first time! Time does fly when you're in love.

                        I can't believe it's already been almost 2 years
                                    since we took this photo.

             On repeat:

water is overrated.try beer.

After a long day at school and a nasty Chemistry test, I know you can understand my desperate need for a cold beer. And so did some of my classmates! So as soon as I finished my paper, we went to a local pub and had a lot of fun.

We listened to good music, drank a lot of beer ( not me,the boys! ) and exchanged funny stories.

I was super happy to go out with them, because we don't always get to hang out. I could have bet that we were going to have a good time! I look forward to going out again and make some memories.

Now that I'm finally home,in my comfy leggings and with a cup of tea nearby, I can watch the new Vampire Diaries episode and also enjoy an Oscar-nominated film .

put a ring on it

I don't quite know when I've started liking rings so much but the fact is that I love buying and wearing all kinds of rings. It doesn't matter if they're big or small, silverish or goldish, old or new. That's why I always find myself searching for photos on tumblr or on weheartit . And since I have tons of wonderful photos,I've decided to show you some of my favourite ones:

I've only recently started buying this kind of rings, but now I can't stop.

                                         I love this chic style!

Wish I had a nail polish like this one. Also, the index finger ring
                                              is awesome!

Everyone likes food so a 'food ring' is a great idea.

                                                This is soo cute!

I've also taken a few pictures of some rings that I wear all the time :

This is how I manage not to lose them in the mess that is my room :

full weekend

It's been a long time since I've had a weekend like this. I went out two nights in a row and I've kind of had the time of my life.
On Saturday, I went to karaoke with some friends and my sister and I even had the courage to sing! I'm usually pretty reserved but that night I had a why-the-hell-not type of feeling. So my friends and I sang 'Wonderwall' and 'Mr. Brightside'. It was fun and hopefully next time we'll sing more than 2 tunes!
On Sunday, I went to Amira's birthday party. She's one of my sister's colleagues and we get along quite well.

I had so much fun ( I even danced! ) and even though I didn't get a lot of sleep, I enjoyed every minute of this weekend.

on our way to Amira's party,we stopped to take some photos
and my sister fell in love with the eerie air of this one

               This weekend's most played song:

snow covered dreams

I don't know about you,but I am kind of sick of this dreadful weather. I admit, it's nice staying indoors with a good book and a nice cup of tea but this perfect scenery changes when you have to go outside and face the blizzard.

on one of those snowy Sundays, I stayed in bed and read all day long

Yesterday, I went to my cousin,Andreea and we had a lot of fun. Although we were freezing,we played with Dex a lot and got to catch up.

I bought this fisheye for my sister
and got to use it myself yesterday

My sister took a lot of photos but only a few of them were publishable. I was amazed to see how many weird faces Andreea and I could make.

Cris,my sister, also tried to take a photo of us jumping in the snow but by the time we got to do it,we were so tired that we couldn't even lift our feet. And when we were able to jump just a little bit, we looked like we were performing some rock'n'roll moves.

In the evening, I went out to grab something to eat and discovered a new wonderful place. The food was great and the company of my sister made it even better.

When we got home, we watched 'Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close', a wonderful movie. I think tonight I'm going to finally see Meryl Streep's performance in "The Iron Lady".

“You live like this, sheltered, in a delicate world, and you believe you are living. Then you read a book… or you take a trip… and you discover that you are not living, that you are hibernating. The symptoms of hibernating are easily detectable: first, restlessness. The second symptom (when hibernating becomes dangerous and might degenerate into death): absence of pleasure. That is all. It appears like an innocuous illness. Monotony, boredom, death. Millions live like this (or die like this) without knowing it. They work in offices. They drive a car. They picnic with their families. They raise children. And then some shock treatment takes place, a person, a book, a song, and it awakens them and saves them from death. Some never awaken.”
